About Me
Me, Myself, and Me.
Hey again, I’m Caleb. A graphic designer with a knack for building bold, distinct designs that push the boundaries of their medium. My skills are the result of five years’ hard work in the Adobe Creative Cloud, illustration, and graphic design. Through volunteering, ONW’s e-Communications academy, and most impactfully, JCCC I’ve
My role in a team

Even more me.
My time as a graphic designer began way back in middle school while volunteering. Through my church, I got to help operate the tech booth and learn how to make simple social media posts. Although it was a relatively small role, I was happy to contribute to a team of people just like me.
So, when I progressed to high school, I was primed for the best decision of my life: applying to Olathe’s 21st Century e-Communications Program. It enabled students to try out different e-Communication jobs for their freshman year and then choose one to “major” for the remaining three years of high school, earning college credit along the way.
After freshman year, I couldn’t choose. I loved all of them. I couldn’t choose just one, so I chose two: graphic design and animation. That decision, while being twice as much work, equipped me with hard experience in the Adobe Creative Cloud, illustration, and graphic design principles. Inevitably, I began experimenting with fusing the two. “Could this poster be more than just a static image?” “What happens when I make typography 3D?”
That tendency of blending mediums bled into my college education, where I immediately began trying to mesh different niches of design, pushing my own limits, and coloring in a wide variety of skills. I markered vector graphics. I lettered typography out of comic bubbles. I embed UI/UX into print and then made it a 3D installation—that one got featured in JCCC’s Unfinished Futures art exhibition.
My Ambition
That’s exactly what I’m looking forward to doing now. Designing bold, unique designs that push the boundaries of their medium while continuing to expand my skillset.
