About Me

A Brief Summary

Hi again, I’m Caleb. A graphic designer with a knack for building bold, distinct designs that push the boundaries of their medium. Through volunteering and both JCCC’s and Olathe School’s graphic design programs I’ve gathered five years’ experience in the Adobe Creative Suite and a wide variety of skills in brand systems, typography, and layout.

Where I Fit In

I play a complimentary, adapting role in teams, shifting depending on what’s needed. A great, recent example of this is my role in the JCCC Graphic Design Club.

Right now, we’re preparing for the 2026 Senior Showcase, where graduating graphic design students are given a platform to present their portfolio. A part of our responsibilities includes a multi-platform advertising campaign. To address this task, we began self-organizing into specialized teams: web, print, animation, and social media. Originally, I joined the animation team, figuring that I could provide insights and technical support since I’ve been endorsed for animation by Olathe’s 21st Century Program. But when it turned out the animation team was overloaded with volunteers looking to expand their skillset, I was the first to pivot. I volunteered to switch to the social media team, which only had two members. Although I knew I could still be helpful to the animation team, I opted for social media because I have just as much professional experience and I knew that the social media team needed an extra hand.

Now, as we approach JCCC’s Senior Showcase, I’m helping plan, organize, and create promotional Instagram posts that help boost the 2026 Graduates’ visibility.

My Ambition

I’m looking to bring my skillset to a larger, specialized team while continuing to learn and expand as a professional. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at the email or number below.
